Bellefleur Farm

O'Riran's official due date is May, 18th however being a maiden mare...who knows!  She's been bagged up since Monday.  So, it's time to start checking on her regularly.  Last night I watched her get up, lay down, roll (not thrashing or straining), lay flat and groan on a regular basis from 11:00 pm til 3:00 am.  Then she gets up, looks at me as if to say what are you doing here, and promptly starts eating!  Gimme a break!  Guess they can't all be like Annie's mom...eating quietly....20 minutes later check on her...still eating quietly but with baby on the ground! Now that was a brood mare! LOL  I'm going to bed.  Later!
